Where is Pepa?
For a time, Pepa del Arco has been my voice in narrative painting.
Today, that voice has merged with my real name, with my signature, with my soul laid bare.
I'm still here, now as J. León, in painting.
Pepa doesn't disappear. She transforms.
And this website will soon follow suit, to accompany that change.

Textures - Jay Bow

Matter also feels
In the Jay Bow line, textures are not a plastic resource: they are the language.
The layers, reliefs and cracks of the material merge with color and atmosphere, creating abstract emotional landscapes.
They emerge from a dialogue between organic and industrial materials, worked with mixed techniques on hand-prepared supports. The works are made with archival-quality materials and professional pigments, designed to withstand the test of time.
Although they are unique pieces, in some cases it is possible to reinterpret the work by varying its tones or chromatic character, always respecting its original essence, the process requiring a margin of creative interpretation that allows the organic evolution of the piece, in tune with my artistic style.
This adaptation can be considered by prior agreement with the client, taking into account specific chromatic or decorative needs.
