My abstract works arise from exploring sensations and atmospheres, without the need to represent what is recognizable.

Some emerge from an enveloping peace, with gentle strokes that caress the canvas like a feather; others are constructed in the midst of conflict, as if paint were pouring out, challenging me to contain it, to find order in the chaos.

They don't look for explanation, just presence.
